Description
Description | "The objective of ‘CyberSecCroHealth’ project is to ensure greater compliance with the NIS2 Directive and enhance cybersecurity within the healthcare sector in Croatia and contribute to the implementation of EU and national legislation on cybersecurity and cybersecurity strategies, harmonisation of cybersecurity practices, increased cyber resilience and improved security of network and information systems in the EU. This will be achieved through activities aimed at establishing a comprehensive technical framework for compliance with the NIS2 Directive and strengthening capacities and improving collaboration in cybersecurity between healthcare stakeholders. Activities include implementing, validating, piloting, and deploying technologies, tools, and IT solutions, as well as processes and methods for monitoring and handling cybersecurity incidents in selected healthcare institutions in Croatia. The project will also focus on improving collaboration and network capacities among healthcare stakeholders that would lead to the future development of the National Cybersecurity Action Plan in healthcare. The project will contribute to the alignment of the Croatian healthcare sector with the NIS2 Directive by enabling participating institutions to better defend against cyberthreats and become the healthcare hubs for cybersecurity expertise in healthcare. This will improve the sector's resilience, and competitiveness, resulting in better health outcomes, improved access to essential services and better quality of life for Croatian citizens. Participating institutions are the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia (MoH) - Coordinator, Clinical Hospital Merkur (CHM), University Hospital for Infectious Diseases ""Dr. Fran Mihaljević"" (UHID) and Croatian Health Insurance Fund (CHIF). The project will be implemented by a team of experts with knowledge and skills in IT, cybersecurity, healthcare, communications, and project management." |
