As a key driver of digital innovation in Hungary, DigitalTech EDIH supports SMEs, SMCCs, and PSOs in accelerating their digital transformation in line with the Digital Decade and Digital Europe Programme. Covering all 8 NUTS-2 regions through its consortium, the hub focuses on key technologies—AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, fintech, edtech, and software technology—underpinned by a strong business development approach. Building on its extensive track record, the renewed proposal sharpens its focus to meet evolving market needs. Cybersecurity remains a priority, supported by targeted training, guidance on NIS2 compliance, and ecosystem-strengthening efforts. AI is embedded across all areas, with the AI & Digital Helpdesk offering direct support. The hub also expands “test-before-invest” services and strengthens access-to-finance support to foster adoption of European digital solutions. By connecting SMEs to pan-European ecosystems and leveraging synergies with stakeholders and other EDIHs, DigitalTech EDIH drives digital transformation, innovation, resilience, and cross-border collaboration.
