The Czech Council of Children and Youth coordinates the National working group for EU Youth Dialogue. This proposal is an application for EU funding for the Youth Dialogue, which is continuous and builds on the dialogue of previous years. The project covers the last 12 months of the 8th cycle of the EU Youth Dialogue. Its topic and main aims are based on the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and it builds on the results of the first part of this cycle, in particular the results of the national consultations related to the theme of the 8th cycle “Europe for YOUth - YOUth for Europe; Space for Democracy and Participation” and with the results of consultations with all participating states. The aim of the project is to strengthen the participation of young people, their civic competences and their sense of belonging to society and public issues, of which they are the part both in Europe and at national level, to ensure equal opportunities for participation of all groups of young people, including the involvement of diverse views and voices, as well as equal participation between young women and men. The implementation of the results of the consultations of the 8th cycle of the EU Youth Dialogue is then an important goal in this phase of the project and at the same time a means to achieve the general objectives.
