Sponsor is local company PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC). The solar plant will comprise 61,200 solar panels and will have the capacity to power an estimated 15,000 households in the province of Bohol. The total investment value stands at $17 million (PHP1 billion). PGEC received an operating contract from the Department of Energy (DOE) in July 2022 and construction started on 27 September, 2022. The plant is slated for completion and commercial operations by Q4 2024.
