Description | Technip Energies India has commissioned its first captive jetty at its modular manufacturing yard in Dahej, Gujarat. The jetty enables direct movement of oversized modules weighing up to 4,000 metric tonnes, which were previously limited by road transport. The new infrastructure reduces transit time from about 15 days via road to 48-72 hours, delivers 60-70% fuel savings, lowers logistics costs, and reduces carbon emissions. The jetty was completed in about seven months and supports large-scale modular projects as part of Technip Energies' global delivery network. The first large-scale process module consignment has been dispatched to the Netherlands for a global energy major. |
