Description | The project involves the construction of the 14MW Dak Re Thuong hydro power plant, which covers about 17.4ha of land in Kon Plong, Kon Tum, Vietnam. The project was approved by the Vietnam's Kon Tum provincial People's Committee. The sponsor is Vietnam-based Thien Tan Hydropower, which will operate the plant for a period of 50 years. The total value of the project is VND420 billion ($18.5 million), in which equity is over VND126 billion ($5.5 million), accounting for 30% of the total investment and the loan is for VND294 billion, or 70% of the total investment. Construction will begin before July 2022 and commercial operations are scheduled by 2024.
