YDA Group won the tender for the 25-year rights to operate the Dalaman airport by offering the highest bid of 705 million euro (US$ 800.7m) in the tender held by DHMI (General Directorate Of State Airports Authority) in March 2014. In addition, EBRD is providing €175 (US$ 197.7m) a 16-year A-loan composed of of €87.5 million for the Bank’s own account and a 15-year B-loan €87.5 million syndicated to UniCredit Bank Austria. The concessionaire YDA Construction is also investing €75 (US$ 88m) million of equity Both the international and the new domestic terminal will be run by YDA Havalimani Yapim ve Isletme A.S. under a concession agreement until the end of 2040. The domestic capacity with the new terminal should increase from 3 million to 10 million passengers per year. The ATM Airport concession, a joint-venture of YDA (80%) and Turkuaz (20%), has held a concession for the Dalaman International Airport since 2006, which expires on the 28 April.
