Description | In November 2016, construction of the Dali Eryuan County Urban and Rural Wastewater Utilities Project commenced in Eryuan County, Dali Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The sponsor was Origin Water, a local private company, which had a 95% stake in the project. Origin Water won the contract through competitive negotiation. The total investment was US$ 347.64 million (RMB 2.30969 billion). The concession term was 25 years including construction (3 years for phase I and 2 years for phase II) and the assets would be transferred to the local government in 2040. The scope of the project included 7 greenfield plants, 443 km of pipelines and wastewater treatment units for 264 villages. |
