Dallas and Williamson Counties Precinct-Level Voting Implementation

planned

Dallas and Williamson counties in Texas are shifting from countywide voting sites to precinct-level voting sites for the March 3, 2026 primary election. This change requires voters to cast ballots at assigned neighborhood polling places instead of centralized countywide locations, affecting both Republican and Democratic voters. The change aims to increase confidence in voter registration accuracy but raises concerns about voter confusion and logistical challenges in securing enough polling locations and workers.
