VTHPA to create groups of volunteers to help communities and support local orgazations to relief victims of recent DANA in Valencia as natural disaster De Amicitia and the other members of the consortium will undertake an ambitious project to organise 19 VTs of 25 days each over 2 years to support the population affected by the devastating effects of the DANA in the Horta Sud area of Valencia and the Marina of Alicante. The VTs will be made up of an average of 7 volunteers each who will regularly carry out volunteer work for 25 days each month. The tasks will be subsequently determined by the agents involved in the project and the volunteers themselves but they will have to deal mainly with the following topics: - Waste collection and cleaning - Adaptation of infrastructures damaged by the DANA - Support for children and senior citizens by means of formal education workshops and entertainment activities. - Carrying out cultural activities commemorating the DANA - Any other relevant actions appropriate and necessary for this type of volunteers and programmes. The project will include three VTs to perform concerts following the experience gained in the project 101060196 VTHPA 2021 as well as a testimonial VT in Ukraine to support the population that has suffered from the effects of the war. The project will include a pre-visit, 3 to 6 face-to-face evaluation meetings, two visibility activities for the start and cancellation of the project and several publications and deliverables including videos and documents to give maximum dissemination to the project. Special attention will be paid to the participation of young people with fewer opportunities, with the expectation that 20-30% of them will participate. The project is designed to be reduced for budgetary reasons to a smaller number of mobilities without affecting the quality and sense of the project.
