Located in Lekki, Nigeria, it supplies over 62 percent of Nigeria's domestic petrol demand and exports refined products to several countries. The refinery is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) on the Nigerian Exchange, expected to be the largest in African capital market history, with a valuation between $40 and $50 billion. Approximately 10% of the refinery's equity will be available to retail investors, institutional funds, and diaspora Africans. The IPO subscription window targets August 2026, with plans for cross-listing on the Nairobi Securities Exchange and potentially the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. |
