Description
Description | The Dangote Refinery in Nigeria is the largest single-train refinery globally, processing up to 650,000 barrels of crude per day. It has made Nigeria a net exporter of petrol for the first time, reversing decades of crude exports paired with refined fuel imports. The project took nearly nine years to build, involving land relocation, infrastructure development, and creation of a logistics ecosystem. The refinery is moving into a second phase of scale, integration, and monetisation, expanding into petrochemicals and planning a pan-African multi-exchange IPO to open ownership to regional investors. |
