Main objective : The DANSCE DIALOGUES project aims to develop a strong and sustainable partnership between England and France, in the field of contemporary dance, for the benefit of dancers, producers and venues, administrative staff and audiences. The project will try to improve the mutual understanding of working conditions and to offer cultural stakeholders prospects of development, cross-border cooperation and circulation of shows. Main actions : - Implementation of professional meetings: Organisation of a meeting by ODIA Normandie in the Théâtre du Forum (Falaise) Organisation of a meeting by Dance South West in the Tacchi Arts Centre (Taunton) - Organisation of training sessions: “Welcome to Le Havre” session for British professionals “Welcome to Exeter” session for French professionals Final session of the training itinerary at IMEC (Contemporary Edition Institute) - Organisation of artist-in-residence programmes and master-classes: Residency with the English choreographer Seeta Patel (in the city of Falaise, with the Chorège association) Residency with the English choreographer Jane Mason (National Choreographic Centre of Caen and Le Havre) Residency of the Point Zéro Company (Plymouth) - Performance of Seeta Patel in Normandy Cultural Centre of Falaise, Le Trident - Organisation of the Channel Crossings Festival dedicated to French contemporary dance.
