Dantz Point Europe consists of a synergy between different European partners, Artens (Greece), Vortice (Portugal), DanceTV (Netherlands) and Dantz (Spain), that work together in the attainment of an identified challenge: it is of great importance the approach of European cultural heritage to new generations through innovative forms and content. Dantz Point Europe was born through the exploration of cultural heritage in an attractive way in order to bring it closer towards young European citizens, who traditionally have not been engaged in cultural heritage. 12 events in 12 different locations in 4 different countries (Greece, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain) sustained by 3 conducting threads: - CULTURAL HERITAGE: divulgation and promotion of cultural, natural and historical European heritage. - ELECTRONIC AND AVANT-GARDE MUSIC: development of emerging artists, facilitating mobility of artists through Europe. - YOUNG AUDIENCES: development of young new audiences through the intersection of electronic music, which belongs to a universal language, and the exploration of cultural heritage in an innovative way. Dantz Points are artistic actions, especially electronic and avant-garde music sessions, in emblematic places such as historical, cultural, natural and industrial heritage sites. They are recorded live and then broadcast on streaming. The participating artists are selected through an Open Call for emerging transnational artists and pretends to boost their careers as well as generating a network of artists and cultural industry workers. Dantz Points are whole campaigns themselves composed by a package of content pursuing the increase of awareness among the way of perceiving cultural heritage, as well as putting in value European cultural heritage using music, new technologies and cultural innovation as main tools. Culture, heritage, architecture, new technologies, tradition, history, tourism, art and music, all driven by the same project.
