The project focuses on combating property crime, especially domestic burglary committed by MOCGs. The aim of the project is the creation of an expert network for combating property crime, the development of a joint situation report, the revelation of perpetrators’ travel routes and the distribution channels of stolen goods. Furthermore, the improvement of information exchange within the network and with Europol and, building on this, conducting joint investigations and destroying identified structures of MOCGs. Milestones: presenting current or completed police investigations conducted in the field of domestic burglary that are related to the participating partner countries, preferably Serbia. These case examples will then be treated and worked through by the participants who are criminal police investigators. Various issues that did not arise during the investigations but are of importance can be simulated in this context (e.g. seizure of profits, surveillance, joint operations, etc.). The stakeholders of the project are Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Austria, Serbia, the Hanns-Seidl-Foundation and Europol. The project lead is the Police Headquarter in Munich (the Criminal Investigation Department).
