The project involves the construction of Phase 5 Package A of the Dar Es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) infrastructure in Tanzania. The package is divided into two lots as follows:  Lot 1: Road works (19.3 Km), 20 conventional bus stations and two pedestrian bridge  Lot 2: Road works (9.4km) and 12 conventional bus stations The project consists of upgrading the existing road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, construction of embankments, drainage structures involving bridges, box culverts, pipe culverts and pavement layers, and ancillary works. Phase 5, Package B includes Lot 3 which focuses on constructing buildings at various locations, including Temek Depot, Tabata Barakuda (Sigara) Depot, and National Stadium Depot, as well as terminals and feeder stations.
