Description

Description

To save energy, energy management and renovations have already been done in many public and public buildings. However, the use, knowledge and understanding of energy management is inadequate and the expected savings are not achieved. The goal of the project is to change this. The project has set a number of milestones to address insufficient energy savings and sub-optimal energy use in public and public buildings. The project will work to convince municipalities to start a holistic construction activity where maintenance, energy efficiency and a good indoor climate are combined in a joint effort. By thinking completely economically, in life cycles, spending is minimised over the years, believes the project. Furthermore, energy management needs to be implemented based on the needs of municipalities and housing associations so that companies that sell the systems do not set the agenda for how it should be done, or bind the building owner to long-term contracts as a way to maintain information and data on energy management. The project also aims to increase the skills and skills of all people who can be drivers of energy optimisation for public buildings, so that they can better act correctly. The project estimates that there is potential to increase energy savings by 10 percent in the buildings being tested. The project will improve the use of the systems to achieve the expected savings potential. The expectation is that it will increase the actual savings achieved by 10 % in the tested buildings. The project estimates that up to 2 500 000 kWh can be saved in the 13 partner municipalities on the basis that 5 % of municipal buildings should be included in the project.
