Data Center Expansion in West Virginia

planning/under consideration

The project involves the rapid growth and expansion of data centers in West Virginia. State officials and lawmakers are considering the industry's potential benefits, such as economic development and utilization of the state's natural resources, while also addressing concerns related to transparency, water usage, noise pollution, electric rates, and power supply. Companies require access to major and fast power supplies, and project-specific details on water usage and noise pollution will depend on individual projects.
