A joint proposal by four governors from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia, in collaboration with the Data Center Coalition, to fast track approval for data centers and their power sources that generate and add their own power to the PJM regional grid. The proposal includes a fast track approval process for data centers and power sources, allowing data centers to qualify if they create power equal to their expected use, and aims to extend the current capacity charge price cap to 2029 to protect ratepayers.
