Description
Description | Promoting a smooth transition of young people from education into the labour market, by equipping them with the necessary skills, competencies, and attitudes, is crucial for a properly functioning labour market in Europe. Engaging with graduates and gathering their feedback on education and early employment experiences is thus crucial for improving the quality and relevance of education. In this context, AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium, as designated body for the implementation of the Eurograduate 2026 Survey in Italy, proposes the initiative “Data Enhancement for Tracking Graduates in Italy” (GRADE-IT) underlining its commitment in supporting the Eurograduate 2026 Survey coordinator for the collection and provision of high-quality and comparable graduates’ data in the country. A National Research Team in charge of the preparation, implementation and dissemination of the survey will be appointed at the scope. Starting from a population of graduates belonging to 82 Italian higher education institutions members of the AlmaLaurea Consortium (membership at autumn 2024), a specific Eurograduate data collection will be launched in autumn 2026 with the following envisaged characteristics, to be eventually reviewed and tuned in accordance with Eurograduate 2026 Survey coordinator. - Representative sample of 2024/2025 (T+1) and 2020/2021 (T+5) graduates population in Italy for EQF levels 6 and 7 to be surveyed through Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI). - Representativeness of the sample across gender, fields of study, types of higher education institution and geographical area of the university. - Collection and processing of the data in full compliance with GDPR. AlmaLaurea will provide unit-level micro data on essential information (data set A, Option 2), ensuring the comparability across EU countries with a set of core indicators to be agreed upon. |
