"The module ""Data Protection and Archival Legislation in the EU Context"" will be implemented at UT's Faculty of Law and addresses the intersection of data protection regulations and archival practices in the digital age. This module focuses on the implications of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation for archival institutions. General objectives: Promoting EU Studies—The module provides in-depth knowledge of EU data protection law, focusing on the GDPR and its practical implications for archival practices in Albania. Developing Expertise—The module fosters interdisciplinary expertise by equipping law students with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of data protection in archival institutions. Fostering Dialogue and Exchange—The module facilitates dialogue and exchange among students, professionals, and the broader public through open forums, debates, a summer school, and a workshop. The module offers a comprehensive range of activities, including two annual updated teaching courses, an annual intensive course, an annual training course, an annual seminar cycle, two open forums, a debate round, a summer school, and a final workshop.
