Translated version of this PSD: Russian The EBRD is considering providing a senior loan of up to USD 20 million to Dataline LLC, a subsidiary of Inline Technologies Group LLC, a leading IT services company in Russia. Proceeds from the senior loan will be used by Dataline for (i) expansion of physical data center infrastructure and installation of equipment and (ii) addition of the data center virtualisation layer The project is expected to have three main sources of transition impact: i) market expansion through developing the data center infrastructure ii) demonstration effect related to the introduction and development of virtualised data center services in Russia and iii) setting standards of corporate governance in the Russian IT sector Dataline LLC is a leading datacentre operator in Moscow, offering a wide range of datacentre services from traditional collocation to cloud based services, and a subsidiary of Inline Technologies Group LLC, a leading IT services company in Russia. A senior loan of up to USD 20 million in two tranches of up to USD 10 million each. Up to USD 42 million. The project was categorised as B requiring environmental and social information on the existing operations and the future data centre and plastic card business expansion. Due diligence found that environmental and social issues are very limited and readily mitigated. The data centre will be constructed on the company’s existing property and no resettlement, indigenous, cultural heritage, or biodiversity impacts were identified. An energy audit is planned of the buildings. The company’s policies on labour, health and safety and environment were reviewed and minor issues were incorporated into an Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) which is being implemented. The ESAP includes identifying an environmental manager, implementing construction safety and waste management plans for the construction of the data centre, implementing grievance procedures for workers and third parties, and developing a procedure for environmental and social review in relation to expansion of plastic cards business.
