Description

Description

"The ""Days of International Partnership"" project is aimed at strengthening the international partnership of municipalities. Its task is to bring discussion on various self-governing topics and problems. At the same time, the task of the project is to provide a space for a deeper understanding of the EU and the cultural diversity of the partners, as well as a space for discussion of current topics and problems. The expected result is the support of cooperation between the nations of Europe and the exchange of experience. The current European reality and the reality of the partnership are determined by the ongoing war in Ukraine, growing Euroscepticism, or lack of interest in public life. The partners are municipalities that fight against this lack of interest. In the area of Central Europe, little attention is also paid to topics such as environmental protection, gender equality, solidarity and volunteering. We therefore plan to present these topics and discuss them on an international level. The partner municipalities and their residents want to be continuously a part of the EU. That is why it is important to remember the importance of the EU in the lives of citizens. As part of the project, we will present EU financial aid that went to partner municipalities, we will discuss the future of Europe, and we will present the topics of gender equality, solidarity, the environment, and assistance to minorities and refugees. A key factor of the project will also be connecting nations through culture. As part of the culture festival, we will create a space for overcoming national prejudices and creating mutual understanding. The project will fulfil the following objectives: 1) Strengthening the partnership through exchange of information and experience 2) Stressing the current themes – gender equality, solidarity, environment – opening them for the discussion 3) Support for the EU and fight against Euroscepticism 4) Connecting four nations through a festival of culture."
