Description	DCM Shriram Consolidated Limited (DSCL or the company) is a diversified Indian chemical company with four primary businesses – urea, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), caustic soda/ chlorine and sugar. Besides the main businesses, DSCL also owns a chain of retail stores for its products. The headquarter of DSCL is in New Delhi, with two major production complexes in Kota, Rajasthan State and Bharuch, Gujarat State. DSCL proposes to invest $74.2 million towards capacity expansion and upgrade of the environmental standards of its plant in Kota. The project includes replacement of DSCL’s chlor–alkali production technology with environment friendly and efficient membrane cell technology, expansion of PVC resin manufacturing capacity, supporting capital expenditure to increase captive power generation capacity and expand the company’s network of agro-product retail stores.
