The proposed project comprises an IFC investment of up to US$100 million in the inaugural issuance of DNNs with five-year maturity of Türkiye Is Bankasi A.S. (Isbank or the Bank), an existing IFC client and the largest private bank and the third largest bank in Türkiye to increase access to finance for small business and retail segments in the eleven provinces impacted from the February 2023 earthquake in Türkiye (Earthquake Region) (the Project).The Project will include an unfunded credit insurance of up to US$50 million under Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program (“MCPP”) FIG III, resulting in IFC net exposure of up to $50 million under the new mobilization guidelines.
