Description | The proposed investment comprises upto INR11,250 million (US$150 million equivalent) investment in Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited (TCHFL or the Company) through subscription of secured nonconvertible debentures (NCDs) to be issued by the Company. TCHFL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Capital Limited (TCL), is a housing finance company (HFC) with focus on mortgage and residential housing construction finance and has an asset under management (AUM) of US$3.6 billion as of 31st December 2021. The proceeds of the IFC investment will be used to expand the Company’s home loan portfolio including loans for affordable homes and green homes. |
