Dai Dung Metallic Manufacture Construction and Trade Corporation (“DDC” or the "Company” https://daidung.com/en/home-english/ ) was established in 1995 and has emerged as the leading Vietnamese provider of turnkey structural steel and mechanical engineering solutions for a variety of projects globally. DDC provides end-to-end solutions from design and consultancy, structural steel fabrication to construction of the steel structures to different industries/purposes such as construction (high-rise buildings and iconic structures), manufacturing (light and heavy industrial plants), transportation, and energy and power (wind power). The Company operates three factories in Viet Nam: An H? (An Ha Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City), Long An (Duc Hoa Ha Commune, Long An Province) and Dung Quat (Dung Quat Industrial Zone, Quang Ngai Province), with capacity to fabricate in total c.200,000 tons of steel per annum.IFC is considering investing up to Vietnamese Dong (VND) 1,000 billion (equivalent to US$ 38 million) in the form of Redeemable Convertible Dividend Preference Shares (RCDPS) to partially fund DDC’s CAPEX program, for the construction of two new factories in Viet Nam:1) Dong Xuyen factory (capacity: 50,000 tons, total area: 10 ha) located in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park, Vung Tau province, expected to commence operation by early 2026.2) Nghi Son factory (capacity: 50,000 tons, total area: 10 ha) located in an industrial zone near Nghi Son deepwater port, Thanh Hoa province, expected to complete construction by late 2025. The company’s current factory operations include cutting, sawing, beveling, bending, and crimping; assembling and welding; surface treatment processes such as shot blasting and sandblasting; and painting and hot-dip galvanization (available exclusively at the Long An facility). The new factories funded under the project will be equipped to perform similar processing tasks, with the exception of galvanization.
