Description | The University of Oregon is planning to upgrade Deady and Villard Halls. Deady Hall is a three-story brick building, with a mansard roof and mansarded corner towers, erected in 1876. Villard Hall, built in 1886, is Second Empire style, also brick, finished with stucco, also with a mansard roof and corner towers. The project will entail replacing all building systems, improving exterior envelope conditions and adding corrective life/safety and accessibility measures. In addition the building structural systems will be upgraded to comply with the current building code to improve seismic performance. |
