Description | In July 2012, construction of a biomass power plant commenced in De'an County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. The developer was Kaidi Electric Power, a Wuhan based local private company. Substantial construction had been completed by April 2013 and was expected to be completed in July 2013 (this however could not be confirmed). The plant would have a capacity of 25MW. The total investment was RMB 340 million (US$ 54.88 million) and Kaidi had a 100% stake in the project. How the agreement was granted to Kaidi was not reported. Neither was the concession term. A SPV Dean County Kaidi Green Energy Development Company Limited was established to implement the project. |
