ECTEG will update as necessary and further refine the training materials elaborated under the previous iteration of the project (‘DECRYPT+’), where necessary, running further pilots of the courses and train-the-trainers courses in cooperation with CEPOL, Europol or other relevant entities and support the deployment of the courses at national and regional level in the EU MS. A certification of the acquired and validated expertise will be facilitated by course quizzes and Capture The Flag exercises. ECTEG will foster the creation of users for the remote platform involving CEPOL and other relevant entities at the national level. Developed courses will be accessible on the ECTEG and CEPOL Learning Management systems, updated regularly to reflect the evolution of the technical solutions. Support to trained experts will be organised so that they can have permanent access to the updated course materials and exchange strategies and techniques using the Europol EPE (Europol Platform for Experts). The Commission Joint Research Centre (DG JRC) will be tasked to design, set up and maintain the infrastructure needed to deliver training remotely. ECTEG shall support DG JRC in defining the functional requirements for this platform in cooperation with other relevant entities, notably CEPOL and Europol.
