Deep Creek Bridge Replacement Project

The Deep Creek Bridge Replacement Project involves replacing the existing bridge with a new 144-foot-long, 60-foot wide, five-lane, dual-leaf drawbridge. The project includes a traffic shift to the new bridge span, moving traffic to one lane westbound on the old bridge and one lane eastbound on the new span. Crews will construct a median connecting the differing elevations of the new and existing structures. Once phase five is complete, the old bridge will be destroyed and replaced with a new three-lane span for westbound traffic.
