Deep Fission Borehole Drilling Project

Deep Fission, Inc. has begun drilling its first data acquisition well in Parsons, Kansas, as part of a three-well drilling program. The well will be drilled to a depth of approximately 6,000 feet with a diameter of roughly eight inches. This project represents the initial phase of site characterization and engineering validation for installing small modular pressurized water reactors one mile underground. The drilling pad construction at the site has been completed, marking a key infrastructure milestone. The data acquisition well will gather critical geological, hydrological, and thermal data to inform engineering design, safety analysis, and regulatory planning, supporting the company's pathway to commercial deployment.
