Deep Green Small-Scale Data Center

Deep Green, a leader in sustainable computing infrastructure, plans to partner with the Lansing Board of Water & Light to create a small-scale data center on E. Kalamazoo Street. The data center will serve regional clients such as engineering firms, pharmaceutical companies, and university researchers. It will feature a closed-loop system to recycle waste heat for heating downtown buildings, reducing carbon emissions and energy costs. The project is expected to generate nearly $2 million annually in new revenues for the city through property taxes and Return on Equity payments.
