Description
Description | FoodPackLab 2.0 aims to at fostering cross-border and cross-sectorial collaboration of clusters and business networks in the strategic field of food security. It connects clusters from four different sectors (agriculture, food processing, packaging and deep tech) and 5 European countries (Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy and Spain) in order to support European SMEs to access new global value chains and ensure their position as global leaders of innovation in targeted industries. By fostering linkages between each targeted sector, the project boosts the development of all of them (traditional sectors become new value chain, disruptive technologies are tested and lead to the discovery of new, more advanced solutions), unlocking complementarities between existing economic activities. The FoodPackLab 2.0 framework for cross-border and cross-sectoral collaboration, initiated with FoodPackLab (strand 1) by matchmaking, brokerage events and joint work of strand 1 partners on the internationalisation strategy and roadmaps for selected third countries, will be further developed through the organisation of FPL 2.0 webinar series, fact-finding missions, internationalisation missions for European SMEs to third countries and follow up activities. It will result in new business projects (at least 4) between SMEs beneficiating from project´s activities (at least 50 entities), as well new collaboration between the Partnership and international actors (at least 2). The Partnership will also elaborate exit strategy to ensure the sustainability of project outcomes and continuity of work after the project´s end. |
