Funding may be available through the USFWS AFRP to complete Phase I of the Deer Creek DCID Dam Fish Passage Project. Deer Creek is a tributary to the Upper Sacramento River near Vina, CA, in southeastern Tehama County. The USFWS requests submission of proposals for 1) completion of a final engineered design and an engineer’s cost estimate for repairs and/or modifications based upon selection of a preferred alternative by a Technical Advisory Committee; 2) development and completion of all required environmental documents and permits that may be required for this project; and 3) development of a Quality Control plan for the proposed data collection/analysis associated with pre- and post-project monitoring. A site visit is planned for tomorrow, April 14, 2013. Meet at 10 am at the Red Bluff DWR building on the north end of Red Bluff. From I-5 take Adobe Road Exit, head west. At stop sign turn right on Main St. Take first right, building is on right. This was posted yesterday but upon checking this morning I did not see it. I apologize for repeat notices.
