Description | The Defense Metals Wicheeda pilot flotation test programme is a metallurgical pilot plant campaign designed to validate rare earth mineral processing under near-continuous industrial conditions. It aims to confirm previous pilot results, generate flotation concentrate of approximately 50% TREO grade, collect engineering data for feasibility studies, and produce tailings samples for environmental assessment. The programme uses about 30 tonnes of drill core material divided into two ore composites representing different mine life stages and is conducted at SGS Canada's Lakefield facility. |
