APIL ha a PPA with Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board for 40 years. Total cost of setting up of the project was estimated at US$6 million. Dehar SHP power plant became operational since July 2004. A second project of Astha Projects (India) Ltd. was Upper Awa SHP, a 5 MW hydro power plant located on Awa Khad, a tributary of Binwa River in Beas basin in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh. APIL signed a PPA with Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board for 40 years. Total cost of setting up of the project was estimated at US$6 million. The project became operational since May 2008. |
