Description | A local private company Anhui Shengyun Machinery Company Limited signed a BOT contract to finance, build and operate a solid waste incineration power plant in Dejiang County, Guizhou Province. The total investment was US$ 38.24 million (RMB 250 million) Anhui Shengyun had a 100% stake in the project. Once completed the facility can process 500 tons of solid waste per day. The plant had a power generation capacity of 9MW. The concession term was not reported. How Anhui Shengyun won the project was not reported. An SPV Dejiang Shengyun Environmental Protection Power Co., Ltd. was registered locally to implement the project. Construction commenced in May 2016 and was expected to be completed in 16 months. |
