Description

Description

Delhi-Agra Toll Road is a 179.5km brownfield project that runs through the states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in India. This involves expanding to six lanes National Highway 2 (20.5KM to 200KM section). DA Toll Road Private Limited is an SPV owned by Reliance Infrastructure (100%). The company won a competitive bid from the National Highways Authority of India by needing the least amount of government support. DA Toll Road Private Limited signed a 26yr DBFOT concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India in May of 2010. The four to six lanes widening of Delhi-Agra road involves construction and renovation of 16 flyovers, 2 overpasses, 14 vehicular underpasses, 8 bridges on service road, 10 pedestrian underpasses, etc. DA Toll Road Private Limited started construction in October of 2012 and began collecting tolls shortly after. The Delhi-Agra Toll Road is expected to cost $492.96m USD, of which $199.55m USD will be financed through equity and $293.41m USD will be debt financed. Equity is provided by the sponsor Reliance Infrastructure ($171.16m USD), and through grant provided by the National Highways Authority of India ($28.39m USD). Debt financing is provided by Andhra Bank ($41.92m USD), India Infrastructure Finance Company ($41.92m USD), Indian Bank ($41.92m USD), Industrial Finance Corporation of India ($41.92m USD), Intesa Sanpaolo ($41,92m USD), State Bank of India ($41.92m USD), and Union Bank of India ($41.92m USD). The project is expected to be completed and fully operational by early 2016. Check by April 2016 to make sure the project is completed.
