Delhi Airport Driverless Air Train

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has finalized plans for India's first driverless airport air train, an automated people mover system aimed at improving passenger movement across the airport complex. The train will cover a total route length of 7.7 kilometres, with 5.7 kilometres elevated and 2 kilometres at ground level, connecting four major stations across Delhi Airport. It will replace slow shuttle bus services, reduce transfer time and traffic congestion, and is expected to handle 40,000 to 50,000 passengers daily. The service is expected to be free for passengers traveling between connecting flights.
