Description | The Delhi government plans to redevelop its existing government residential colonies under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, following the Centre's General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) project. The redevelopment aims to modernise houses, optimise land use, and recover project costs by utilising land for commercial purposes such as offices, retail spaces, or by selling land parcels to private developers or constructing housing units for sale. A consultant will be appointed to study the feasibility, including the number of colonies that can be redeveloped, available space for multi-storey buildings, and commercial activities, and will submit a detailed project report. |
