Description | Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs and the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, will launch a hydrogen-powered shuttle bus service in Delhi's Central Vista area from May 15, 2026. The project aims to promote clean mobility and improve last-mile connectivity for commuters traveling between Central Secretariat and Seva Teerth Metro stations and key government offices in the Central Vista region. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has provided two hydrogen-fueled buses equipped with GPS tracking and CCTV systems. The buses will operate Monday to Friday, excluding gazetted holidays, running every 30 minutes on a circuit connecting important government offices and landmarks. |
