Delta Drainage Pump Stations

Much of Delta is in the coastal floodplain. With climate change, rainstorms are increasing in intensity and frequency leading to challenges to move the stormwater out of Delta. The development of industrial lands and critical transportation and utility infrastructure require Delta to convey stormwater for flood resilience. The existing lowlands are already saturated with localized flooding occurring annually in the rainy season. The 84 Street and Silda Drainage Pump Stations are required for Delta to increase flood resilience to protect critical infrastructure and Delta residents in the lowlands.
