Established in 2013, Dembesh Hotel (website currently under construction - https://dembesh.com/) is an independent owner operating a 50-key business hotel in Juba, the capital city of South Sudan. The proposed investment is an up to US$3.75 million IFC A loan and an up to US$3.75 million IDA PSW subordinated loan to Dembesh Hotel South Sudan Ltd (“Dembesh Hotel” or the “Hotel”) to finance part of the Hotel’s project involving a 33-room extension and refurbishment of the existing rooms (the “Project”). The loans will also cover a newly constructed 3 floors building for staff accommodation.Dembesh Hotel is a business hotel located in Hai-Mission first class residential area in Juba opposite the Juba national football stadium, Juba Central Equatorial State, Republic of South Sudan (https://goo.gl/maps/UbQ9cwCNPR4taFKo9). The project land size is approximately 7,174 Square meters.  In addition to the guest rooms, the existing hotel has two restaurants, a bar, a swimming pool, a ballroom, an outdoor green area, gym, massage, steam and sauna.
