The DemoTT project aims to foster cross-border democratic engagement between the partner cities of Frankfurt, Germany, and Lviv, Ukraine, by organizing a participatory event in Frankfurt. This project brings together citizens, public administration officials, business leaders, and political figures from both cities to promote mutual understanding, strengthen democratic values, and enhance civic participation. Given the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the event in Frankfurt provides a secure platform for dialogue and the exchange of democratic practices between European and Ukrainian stakeholders. The project emphasizes inclusivity, targeting diverse demographic groups to engage in discussions on human rights, governance and European citizenship. Utilizing innovative digital tools, such as AI-assisted surveys, the project ensures broader engagement and a sustainable impact. Through capacity-building efforts and the dissemination of outcomes at local and EU levels, DemoTT contributes to the EU’s broader goals of democratic resilience, integration, and gender equality.
