In addition, there is an increase in the number of graduating dentists who would start their private practices which will increase the demand for qualified dental assistants. The current issue is the lack of qualified dental assistants in the local market due to the fact that there aren't many accredited programs available. Additionally, it is important to avoid having overqualified assistants who are unable to find employment after completing their qualification. This is why vocational diplomas are important in preventing the overabundance of qualified job seekers from stagnating the market. The job of dental assistant offers many advantages for the interested person; it is a versatile job where the person can learn and take on different tasks, flexible job schedules that would adapt different needs, clean and interactive work environment, and it helps to achieve self-satisfaction by helping patients. The program is oriented towards the qualification of women in the field to help in improving the employment of women in the community. It targets young ladies who finished high school in the scientific or nursing path. It is a 9-month professional diploma program held in the University of Jordan, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Al- Quds University, and An Najah National University. The program would help in reducing the unemployment among women, and it can be applied in all sectors and all parts of the country.
