The 84,000-square-foot facility features 30 advanced automated sorting stations using optical and AI technology, capable of processing up to 45 tons of material per hour. The site also includes a 30,000-square-foot hauling site with office space, a 10-bay truck maintenance shop, and 104 compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations to support a fleet of lower-emission CNG collection trucks. Additionally, WM plans to expand the fleet and has broken ground on a co-located facility for special collections. The project is part of WM's broader investment plan to enhance recycling infrastructure across North America.
