Denver Plan to Remove Parking Minimums

Planned

Denver is considering removing restrictions on the minimum number of parking spaces required for all land use across the city. The goal is to create more space for affordable housing and encourage sustainable transportation. The proposal includes removing vehicle parking exceptions, simplifying parking tables, consolidating bicycle parking requirements, and maintaining maximum parking limits near transit and downtown zones.
