Description | The project aims to deploy the ETCS Level 1 Limited Supervision system (Baseline 4) on approximately 534 kilometers of double track railway lines (of which almost 78 km consist of urban nodes) in 7 voivodeships across 5 different regions in Poland: Małopolskie in the Southern region, Łódzkie in the Central region, Wielkopolskie in the Western region, Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Pomorskie in the northern Region, and Śląskie and Opolskie in the Silesian region. The objective of this project is to increase the interoperability of rail transport, adapting the sections of the TEN-T network lines to the parameters specified in the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2024/1679 by the end of 2030. |
