Deployment of Reliable Infrastructure for Vehicle Electrification

The main objective of this project is to implement a network of publicly accessible recharging pools for light-duty (LDV) and heavy-duty electric vehicles (HDV) to allow electric charging along the TEN-T road networks in Spain. The objective will be achieved with the deployment of 94 charging pools (sites) equipped with 305 recharging points, 286 of a minimum power output of 150 kW for LDV and 19 of 350 kW for HDV each, fully operational and 24/7 available for consumers. The charging infrastructure of LDV and HDV, when feasible, will rely on 100% renewable electricity from sun and wind, contributing to the objectives of the European Green Deal, and to the Spain’s Plan Nacional Integrado de Energía y Clima (PNIEC) 2021-2030, and air quality policies, supporting sustainability and regional competitiveness.
